SAINT URIEL, LUMINOUS ARCHANGEL
Archangel Uriel is the Archangel of wisdom and philosophical illumination. Uriel is believed to shine the light of God's Truth to those who seek information, solutions, or even require wisdom.
Uriel is often portrayed carrying a book or scroll which symbolize wisdom.
Archangel Uriel further symbolizes love. Uriel's symbol of a hand holding a flame for humanity conveys the flame of love, to ignite and enlighten the heart and to lead the way.
The name "Uriel" is derived from the Hebrew אוּרִיאֵל and means "God is my light." It is also translated as "Fire of God."
Uriel is also known as "Prince of the Sun," the "Angel of the Presence," the "Archangel of Salvation" and the "Patron of Prophecy." [1]
Uriel is considered to be Archangel of the earth. Some people believe that Uriel is connected in a special way with storms and rainbows.
According to Jewish tradition, Uriel was the angel who checked the doors marked with blood during the plagues in Egypt and was the angel who led Abraham to Canaan.
SAINT URIEL, THE ARCHANGEL
Repeat the following Novena prayers every day for 9 consecutive days.
O Illustrious Saint Uriel,
the Archangel of God’s divine justice,
as you hold the heavenly scales
that weigh our lives on earth,
I ask you to intercede for me,
that God may forgive me all my sins.
Obtain for me the grace of true repentance
and conversion of heart
that I may be spared the punishment I deserve.
Offer my prayers to God in my search for true peace
and happiness founded on truth and justice.
I pray for those who are suffering from inhuman treatment,
those who are dying as a result of injustice,
and those who are oppressed
by the manipulation and exploitation of others.
I also pray for my less fortunate brothers and sisters
and myself for the following intentions, specifically,
